Our Christmas Appeal

Giving back to those who are less fortunate forms the foundation of the Mercury Hibberdene Children’s Holiday Home.christmas decoration banner

Our mission is to provide underprivileged children with a place that encompasses love, fun, education and safety throughout their school holidays as they enjoy a seaside vacation that is free from care and deprivation.

The December festive season is no expectation, this time of year for us is a time we use to enjoy time with family and loved ones; to unwind after what – for some – may have been a long year; to enjoy and indulge in good food, good company and most importantly to love on others and that is the exact experience we wish to create for the children this year.

This list is not only aimed to enable the children an enjoyable Christmas with Christmas lunch complete with decorations as well as toys and fun-filled activities for them to take part in, but it also endeavours to provide basic necessities for them during their time with us such as clothing and toiletries as many of them arrive at the home with only the clothing they have on.
